He has built an impressive range of vessels — from yachts and luxury motor yachts to trailer boats and RIBs — earning widespread respect within the marine industry for his expertise and experience. A dedicated sailor, boatie, fisherman, and diver, David’s deep connection to the ocean is reflected in every Smuggler boat. Performance and balance have always been the driving forces behind his designs.
Pauline is a passionate boatie who grew up in a sailing family, fostering a lifelong love for the water. Her extensive boating knowledge, combined with exceptional organisational skills, has played a key role in shaping the business into what it is today. Pauline has a genuine ability to listen to clients and turn their ideas into reality.
A builder by trade, Logan brings a strong focus on innovation and design to Smuggler’s new models with his extensive technical knowledge. A New Zealand Thundercat Champion, Logan has always had a passion for water sports and fishing. Logan is well prepared to take the reins when his father retires.
With over 30+years in the marine industry, with a background in diving, fishing and marine electronics, Calvin brings a wealth of knowledge across a broad spectrum of the maritime field. A former Papakura Volunteer Coastguard training officer and training skipper, Calvin has applied his knowledge in the Marine SAR space. With a high golf handicap, Calvin is best suited to staying on the water, or spending time with his two beautiful grand daughters.
With 25 years of boat-building experience, Andrew brings exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. He’s the man who keeps your vessel running smoothly, ensuring every build meets the highest standards. Andrew runs a tight ship and takes pride in making sure we deliver on our promises.
Lucy is well known for her exceptional welcoming skills, she will escort visitors to the showroom as well as off the premises when required. She doubles as a security agent, as well as cleaner of the lunchroom floor. Her ability to lift staff morale is second to none, she is a highly valued member of the Smuggler team.
