Our family decided we needed a boat that would be easy to operate. For several years, we looked at Smuggler’s competitors, but for one reason or another, they were always hard to deal with.
I still remember calling Dave at Smuggler — it was a light-switch moment. Dave came over to our beach place to make sure the boat would suit our location and offered thoughtful advice. We decided to buy, and before we knew it, our new boat had arrived.
The boat has completely changed our boating life — it’s so easy to operate and gets used all the time. The new norm now is rather than take the local ferry to Whitianga we take the smuggler, even if we are going out for dinner, we just park right outside the restaurant.
Smuggler is a great company with wonderful, genuine people to deal with.
